This is the privacy statement of SecuraLab, located at Tappersweg 14-25 in Haarlem (hereinafter referred to as: SecuraLab), Labtest.nl.
Applicability
This privacy statement applies to all privacy-sensitive information or personal data that you provide to us, for example through a registration form, contact form or orders you place. We attach great importance to the privacy of our customers and therefore take the utmost care when handling and protecting personal data. We process data in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
SecuraLab is the controller within the meaning of the GDPR with regard to the processing of your personal data. This means that only we determine which personal data is processed, for what purpose and in what manner. We are responsible for ensuring that your personal data is processed properly and carefully in accordance with the GDPR. In this privacy statement, we explain which data we process and for what purposes it is used.

- Gender

- Place of birth
- Address details
- Telephone number
- Email address
- Domain name (URL)
- IP address of a website visitor
Purposes and legal bases for processing personal data
By agreeing to this privacy statement, you explicitly consent, within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, to the processing of your personal data for the purposes specified below. You may withdraw this consent at any time. However, if you do not provide certain information to us or do not allow us to process it, we may not be able to provide our services to you properly.
If you have not given us explicit consent to process your personal data, or if you have withdrawn your consent, the legal bases set out in Article 6(1)(b), (c) and/or (f) of the GDPR may apply to the processing of your personal data. In such cases, your personal data may be processed without your consent if this is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are or will become a party, necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by SecuraLab, or necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter
- Contacting you by telephone or email where necessary to provide our services
- Informing you about changes to our services and products
- Delivering goods and services to you
We do not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected.
Disclosure to third parties
We may share your personal data with third parties where this is compatible with the purposes described above. Disclosure to third parties may be necessary for the performance of the agreement we enter into with you, necessary for the purposes of our legitimate interests, or necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject.
We enter into data processing agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing activities.
Outside the situations described above, we will only disclose your personal data to other third parties with your explicit consent.
Commercial purposes
We may use your personal data for commercial purposes, for example to provide you with further information about our services or relevant products or services offered by carefully selected organisations. In such cases, you will only be contacted via the email address you have registered.
If you no longer wish to receive information about relevant products or services, you can easily indicate this by clicking “unsubscribe” in the email you receive.
We also use your personal data for market research and to optimise our services. For these purposes, your personal data is anonymised and can therefore no longer be traced back to you.
Your data will not be sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes unless you have explicitly given your consent.

Functional cookies: These are cookies that are necessary for the technical operation of the website and for your convenience. They ensure that the website functions properly and, for example, remember your preferences. They also allow us to optimise our website. These are analytical cookies that do not infringe upon your privacy and for which we do not require your prior consent.
Tracking cookies: We place cookies that track your browsing behaviour so that we can provide personalised content and advertisements. When you first visited our website, we informed you about these cookies and requested your consent to place them. You can disable cookies by configuring your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. You can also delete any information previously stored through your browser settings.
Google Analytics: This website uses cookies from the American company Google as part of its Analytics service. SecuraLab uses this service to obtain reports on how the website is used and to measure its quality and effectiveness. We use Google Analytics in the manner prescribed by the Dutch Data Protection Authority in order to qualify for the exemption under Dutch cookie legislation, meaning that we do not require your prior consent for the use of Google Analytics.
Microsoft Clarity: We work with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to record how you use and interact with our website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps and session replays. This allows us to improve and market our products and services.
Website usage data is collected using first-party and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and services and online activity. We also use this information for website optimisation, fraud prevention and security purposes, and advertising.
Reviews
WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews through the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name on its own website.
In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to request further information about your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They use this information solely for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review.
WebwinkelKeur has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. WebwinkelKeur reserves the right to engage third parties in providing its services, for which we have granted WebwinkelKeur permission. All safeguards described above regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of the service for which WebwinkelKeur engages third parties.
Accessing, correcting or deleting your data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the processing of your data or to object to the processing of your personal data.
You have the right to data portability if we hold personal data about you in digital form that we process either with your consent or for the purpose of performing an agreement we have entered into with you.
This means that you may submit a request to us to send the digital personal data we hold about you in a readable computer file to you or to another organisation specified by you.
You can submit a request to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data by contacting us at support@labtest.nl.
To ensure that a request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip containing numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Dutch citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks at the latest.
We would also like to point out that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
